The original Acerbis plastics were built by 1970s racer and company namesake Franco, who realized the need for larger custom front fenders to block more mud from racers’ faces. The first Acerbis plastics production run consisted of just three fenders; one for Franco, one for the local off-road champion and one for sale. Acerbis USA has since grown to produce millions of accessories for a growing and diverse set of riders and conditions with the same racing soul and passion that started it all. Since its inception, Acerbis’ innovative and iconic products have set the bar in the off-road aftermarket accessories industry.
